That remains an individual report rather than a product-wide benchmark, but it illustrates where these building blocks are headed: voice capture for intent, persistent agent context for execution, and conventional engineering review before merging code. Users with an iPhone 15 Pro or later can update to Grok Bot version 1.16, assign “Start Voice Chat” to the phone’s Action Button, and launch a conversation with a press. The feature puts Bot closer to the way people already invoke cameras, flashlights, and shortcuts: immediate access without opening an app and typing a prompt. It is a simple prompt, but it points to a more proactive use of agents: not merely completing a requested task, but observing a defined source of information and recommending operational improvements. Bots can claim a mail.grokbot.com address and draft emails for users to send, while apps including Figma, Notion, and Canva can appear as live cards directly in chat. The update also expands public-X access: Bots can search X and read public posts and profiles without an X connector. One important clarification from the team: the email address is currently one per account, shared across that account’s Bots, rather than a separate address for every individual Bot. The trend is clear: the product is emphasizing coordination over isolated prompting. Live app context, public-web research, shared inboxes, and goal-confirmation skills all make Bots more capable collaborators. Documentation is now live, along with a path for existing Cursor users to unify their accounts.
