July 28, 2026: Follow a git repository

Pods can now track github projects using the git: source. Add a git:https://github.com/owner/repo source and each episode covers what landed since the last one: merged pull requests, closed issues, and commits. If there are no changes, then nothing will get published. Only public repos so far. Hear it in action on the Pi Project Update, a daily two-minute brief on the Pi agent harness project by Earendil.

You can try creating one yourself by just asking your own harness to connect to the MCP server and saying "track the XYZ project on github with a daily podcast".

July 24, 2026: Let your agents drive

AI agents can now manage your account over a remote MCP server: create pods, track shows, combine feeds, and fire episodes. Create an access token under Account → Agent Access and see the agent docs for setup.

Alongside it: track any podcast by RSS feed URL — unknown shows are validated and tracked automatically when your pod saves, and the pod page shows transcript progress until the first recap fires.

July 22, 2026: Embeddable episode player

Every episode can be embedded on any site via an iframe player that follows the visitor's light/dark scheme.

July 21, 2026: Daily digest emails

Pod owners get a daily email digest of new episodes, with one-click listen links and unsubscribe.

July 16, 2026: Library RSS and episode permalinks

The public library has its own RSS feed, and every episode has a shareable permalink.

July 13, 2026: Studio voices

New expressive studio voices with per-voice playback speeds. Pick a narrator and preview samples on the pod form.
